Bruce Yungkans wins SoCal Golf Insider’s Masters contestDustin Johnson may have run away with the 2020 Masters, but our SoCal Golf Insider Masters contest came right down to the wire — and then went into extra holes. And when the final numbers were tallied, it was Bruce Yungkans who took home the top prize. Both Bruce and Jaime Beltran picked Johnson to win the green jacket with a final four-day score of 19-under par. But Bruce won the tiebreaker by choosing the number 3, which beat out Jaime’s selection of 44. The tie-breaker number was 19. In all, 19 SoCal Golf Insider readers picked Dustin Johnson, who coasted to a five-shot victory with rounds of 65-70-65-68 (268) to finish at 20-under par, a new Masters record. For his efforts, Bruce receives a free foursome to SoCal’s newest golf course, Rancho Del Sol Golf Club in Moreno Valley, and a $100 gift card that is valid at Roger Dunn Golf Shops or The Golf Mart.
