3 tips to increase your swing speedIf you want to increase your distance, there’s one thing you definitely have to have more of: speed. In this video, you’ll learn three exercises you can use to help increase your swing speed, which will help you hit the ball further. But, as Mike Hansen from Hansen Fitness for Golf Irvine says, you have to have controlled speed, otherwise you’ll end up hitting the ball into the wrong fairway or worse. To assist with controlling your speed, the exercises focus on upper body mobility and lower body stability, and then upper body stability and lower body mobility. This will help you make a full turn on the back swing and follow through while your lower body stays under control. It's interesting to know that the upper body mobility will be focused on when you want to increase your swing speed. I will keep that in mind even if I will just try out this activity as a hobby. My plan is to look for a country club golf course where I can join into and play in their facility every weekend.
